$80M for S.J. jail SACRAMENTO - San
Joaquin County is poised to receive the full $80 million it requested from
the state to expand its overcrowded jail by 1,280 beds.
Calaveras, Amador shortchanged Calaveras and Amador county officials
came up short Tuesday when state prison officials announced jail funding
priorities.
